St. Amant woman arrested for possession of heroin, other drug charges

ST. AMANT, LA — Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a St. Amant woman on drug charges.
According to Lt. Col. Bobby Webre, on March 11, the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division began an investigation into a complaint of drug activity at a home on Cypress Gold Avenue in St. Amant.
As the investigation continued detectives subsequently obtained sufficient probable cause to search the residence. During the search, narcotics detectives seized Heroin, Cephalexin pills, hypodermic needles, and other drug paraphernalia.
Detectives arrested Miranda Argrave, 33, and charged her with Possession of Schedule I CDS, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail. Her bond was set by Judge Turner in the amount of $55,342.50.
