BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — A Denham Springs man was arrested for his third DWI after he was clocked driving 87 mph down a major road in Baton Rouge.
According to the arrest report, the incident happened on Friday, Oct. 4 shortly after 11:00 p.m. An officer with the Baton Rouge Police Department was stationed around the 1600 block of Florida Blvd. when he noticed the speeding vehicle.
The reported noted the vehicle was being driving in a reckless manner, so the officer initiated a traffic stop.
The officer suspected the driver, Shaunathan Thibeaux, 34, to be under the influence of alcohol.

Thibeaux submitted to a breath test, which showed his BAC to be .152 percent.
