Shreveport woman accused of stabbing man in head with fork

SHREVEPORT, LA (KMSS) — A Shreveport woman has been jailed after allegedly stabbing a man in his head with a fork.
Authorities tell KMSS it happened around 3:49 p.m. on the 1800 block of Rainwater Street.
When officers were en route to the scene, they learned Melvin Demming, 24, had arrived at a local hospital with minor cuts to his head. Further investigation revealed Cierra Blackburn, 21, was involved in a domestic dispute with Demming, when she allegedly attacked him with a fork.
Officers arrested Blackburn and booked her into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of aggravated battery.
