A Shreveport man was arrested for allegedly running his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle off the road, then fleeing the scene.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident happened at roughly 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31. The crash happened on Hwy. 173 near Roy Road.

Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle being driven by Jacques Deshun Bridges ram a vehicle being driven by Phaedra Quanette Holloway from behind. That forced Holloway’s vehicle off the road, causing it to roll over.

Holloway was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

Bridges reportedly fled the scene, but was located and arrested the following night.

Bridges is charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder and Hit-and-Run. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
