A Shreveport man was arrested on Friday, July 26 in connection with a triple murder in west Shreveport last week.

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit arrested Tommy Wilson, 57, in connection with the July 18, stabbings that claimed the lives of Irene Ellison, 78, her daughter Carise Ellison, 41, and Bryan Wilson, 58, (no relation to the suspect).

The bodies were discovered after Shreveport Police received a frantic 911 call just before 10:00 p.m. from a family member who had come home and found all three victims deceased in the residence.

Based on evidence recovered at the scene of the crime as well as other information gathered during their ongoing inquiry, detectives were able to identify Wilson as the suspect they believe killed the victims. Wilson, whom police believe is a former boyfriend of Carise Ellison, was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on three counts of Second-Degree Murder. His bond has been set at $1,500,000.
