Shooting in Brusly puts man in hospital

A shooting in West Baton Rouge Parish has left one person injured and another on the run on March 15.

The Sheriff's Office tells NBC33 that Ernest Young, 26, was shot around 5:00 the evening. The incident occurred at the 1400 block of Reverend Manuel Street, near a community basketball court.

Witnesses say Christopher Pierson, 26, shot Young. Pierson is 6'3" and 175 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans.

Young is in stable condition at a local hospital. No one else was injured

Pierson is now wanted for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
