Seven arrests in connection with 2 Ascension Parish meth labs

Seven people have been arrested in Ascension Parish in connection to two meth labs.

Colonel Bobby Webre of the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office said that they arrested the seven suspects, after a month-long investigation in Prairieville.

Webre said dectectives with the Narcotics Divison were conducting surveillance at home in the 18000 block of Beechwood road, after receiving several complaints of illegal drug activity taking place there.

Detectives made the first four arrests on February 14, by stopping two vehicles after leaving the home.

Upon searching the two vehicles, detectives discovered methamphetamine, heroin, drug paraphernalia, handguns, and a shotgun.

Tracey Bare, Jennifer Wagley, Brittany Donaldson, and Ryan Phelps were all placed under arrest.

Jennifer Wagely bonded out of jail on February 14, and was arrested four days later on February 18, when Narcotics detectives performed a warranted search of the house.

Detectives found two active methamphetamine labs, as well as quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana, pseudophedrine, hydrocodone, clonazepam, xanax, adderall, and one handgun.

Patrick Klienpeter, David Bare, and Lori Bailey were arrested, along with Jennifer Wagley.

35-year-old Jennifer Wagley of Prairieville was arrested on February 14 and charged with possession of schedule II CDS, creation/operation of a clandestine lab, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was again arrested on February 18, and charged with two counts creation/operation of a clandestine lab, possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS, possession with intent to distribute schedule IV CDS, two counts possession of schedule II CDS, two counts possession of schedule IV CDS, illegal carrying of a weapon, possession of schedule I CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is currently in the Ascension Parish Jail where her bond has been set at $171,089.

33-year-old Ryan Phelps of Gonzales was arrested on February 14 and charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule II CDS, two counts of illegal carrying of a firearm, creation/operation of a clandestine lab, and felon in possession of a firearm. He is currently in the Ascension Parish Jail where his bond has been set at $70,000.

41-year-old Tracey Bare of St. Amant, was arrested on February 14 and charged with possession of methamphetamine. He is currently in the Ascension Parish Jail where his bond has been set at $5,000.

23-year-old Brandi Donaldson of Prairieville was arrested on February 14 and charged with possession of schedule I CDS, possession of schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal carrying of a weapon. Her bond was set at $35,344.50 and she was released from the Ascension Parish Jail on February 16.

56-year-old Patrick Kleinpeter Sr. of Prairieville was arrested on February 18 and charged with two counts of creation/operation of a clandestine lab, three counts of possession of schedule II CDS, three counts of possession of schedule IV CDS, possession of schedule I CDS, illegal carrying of a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently in the Ascension Parish Jail where her bond has been set at $171,089.

35-year-old Lori Bailey of Prairieville, was arrested on February 18 and charged with two counts of creation/operation of a clandestine lab, three counts of possession of schedule II CDS, three counts of possession of schedule IV CDS, possession of schedule I CDS, illegal carrying of a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is currently in the Ascension Parish Jail where her bond has been set at $171,089.

50-year-old David Bare of Prairieville was arrested on February 18 and charged with two counts of creation/operation of a clandestine lab, three counts of possession of schedule II CDS, three counts of possession of schedule IV CDS, possession of schedule I CDS, illegal carrying of a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently incarcerated at the Ascension Parish Jail where her bond has been set at $171,089.
