Second suspect identified for shooting with injury on Atlanta Street

BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — UPDATE: Christopher Hymes turned himself in to Detectives and was booked into the parish prison for 5 counts Attempted First-Degree Murder, 1 count Armed Robbery, 1 count Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property and Illegal Use of a Firearm.
Russell is still at large.
ORIGINAL: A second suspect has been identified for a possible connection to a shooting that left one man injured.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is looking for Eric L. Russell, 20, of Baton Rouge. They are also seeking Christopher Hymes, 19.
The incident occurred on Friday, Nov. 9 at roughly 6:30 p.m. on the 5900 block of Atlanta Street. We’re told one man was injured in the shooting.
