NBC NEWS — A campus wide lock down at Virginia Tech University has been lifted this evening, hours after three teenagers attending a summer camp on campus said they saw a man holding what appeared to be a handgun.

This morning, officers rushed the campus after three teens attending a summer camp on campus said they saw a man holding what appeared to be a handgun.

Virginia Tech Police released a composite of what the man may have looked like. He was described as around 6 feet tall with light brown hair, wearing a blue and white striped shirt, gray shorts and brown sandals.
