Satanic, Nazi phrases spray painted by vandals at Catholic school in Covington
COVINGTON, LA (NBC33) — A Catholic school in Covington was reportedly vandalized. Officials say the criminals spray painted satanic and Nazi slurs on 40 different locations at the campus.
The Covington Police Department reports that St. Paul’s School contacted authorities at roughly 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27. Officers noted various painted text stating “Hail Satan 666,” numerous swastikas, and the world “Hitler” spelled out on the supports of the bell tower.
Some of the statues located throughout the campus were also found to have the Star of David painted on them, while others had “obscene” drawings.
Officials estimate that the damage caused by the vandals could cost close to $2,000 to have repaired.
