ST.GABRIEL,LA (NBC33) — The first shooting in Saint Gabriel in almost six years has left two people injured. It happened at an apartment complex on the 3600 block of Bank Drive around 9:30 p.m. Monday. Investigators say two unnamed gunmen jumped out of some bushes and shot two people as they were leaving their apartment. One victim suffered an injury to their neck. The other was shot in their leg. When the gunmen tried to escape, their car wouldn't start and they were arrested. Investigators are still looking into the motive behind the shooting.
