Robbery on Old Hammond Highway - Update

Matthew Brady Paulk, 35, has been arrested and charged with 1st Degree Robbery for the robbery of the Teche Federal Bank at 9830 Old Hammond Hwy, inside the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, on April 1, 2011. Detectives received a tip that led to Paulk's arrest.
Paulk was arrested in Pasadena, TX on April 8 by the Waller County Sheriff's Office and extradited to Baton Rouge for arrest.
BATON ROUGE (NBC33) - A man robbed a bank on Old Hammond Highway on April 8.
Baton Rouge Police said it happened around 5:00 p.m. when a man walked up to the Teche bank in the Wal-Mart on Old Hammond, and passed a note to the teller demanding cash.
The note instructed the teller that if he didn't cooperate, the man had an explosive device he would blow up.
The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and the man took off.
Baton Rouge Police are still looking for this man,who was last seen driving a grey Nissan.
