Repeat burglar linked to second Plaquemines Parish break-in

PLAQUEMINES PARISH, LA (NBC33) — The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a man on burglary charges for the second time in five months.
On April 27, the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office investigated a residential burglary in the 100 block of Fredrick Lane in Davant. The victim discovered that someone broke into his deceased parent’s residence and stole a 50-inch flat screen TV from the living room. Also, a shed behind the home was forcefully entered and a 5-gallon gas can was stolen.
Deputies were unable to locate any fingerprint evidence at the scene; however, they did locate a wash cloth in the grass between the shed and the residence; authorities sent it to the LSP Crime Lab for DNA analysis.
On June 28, PPSO found that the DNA was linked to Terry D. Reddick, 21, of East Pointe-a-la-Hache.
During the investigation, a detective foudn that on April 27 Reddick pawned the victim’s 50-inch Panasonic plasma television at a pawnshop in Harvey. An arrest warrant was issed for Reddick for Simple Burglary.
On July 16, officials located Reddick at his residence. He refused to comply and fled on foot. He was found a short time later, hiding in a nearby ditch.
He was booked for Simple Burglary and Resisting and Officer. Reddick is currently incarcerated in the custody of the PPSO in lieu of an $80,000 bond.
This is not the first time Reddick has been arrested for burglary in Plaquemines Parish. He was also arrested March 1 for a vehicle burglary that took place on February 27.
