Public defender steps down in case against accused Beauregard Town shooter

BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The public defender for Aramis Jackson's stepped down from the case today.
Nevil Hollingsworth stepping down today stating a conflict of interest in the case.
Jackson is accused of shooting Alexandra Engler and her daughter Ariana during a home invasion at their house in Beauregard Town. For more on the original story, click here.
