Prairieville man drives stolen truck into Bayou Manchac

A Prairieville man is now in jail after driving a truck into Bayou Manchac and running from police.

Allison Hudson, a sheriff’s spokesperson, says Seth Falcon, 27, stole the pickup truck when he broke into the CB&I building on Perkins Road, on the morning of August 7, 2014.

Deputies spotted him driving shirtless and chased after him.

Hudson says Falcon later drove the truck  into the bayou, while trying to escape police.

Falcon was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on the following charges:

  • 2 counts Simple Vehicle Burglary
  • Simple Burglary
  • Theft of a Motor Vehicle Over $1,500,
  • Simple Criminal Damage to Property less than $500,
  • Theft less than $500,
  • Resisting an Officer,
  • Simple Criminal Damage to Property between $500 and $50,000,
  • Illegal Possession of Stolen Things over $1,500
  • Fugitive from Another Agency
