Police searching for Belle Rose home invaders

Belle Rose, La — The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for two men assocatied with a home invasion that took place in Belle Rose on January 6.
At around 8:56 p.m., APSO dispatchers received a 911 call concerning a home invasion on Freetown Lane in Belle Rose.
The 22-year-old male victim reported that earlier that evening he returned home and was attacked by two masked men armed with firearms who were hiding inside of his residence.
A struggle ensued and the victim was stabbed in his upper arm. The suspects then bound the victim and demanded money.
The victim surrendered approximately $400 in cash however; the suspects proceeded to ransack the residence. The victim’s cell phone, several pairs of shoes and various items of clothing was also taken.
After freeing himself, the victim went to a nearby family members house and called the Sheriff’s Office. A family member transported him to Prevost Hospital where he was treated and released.
