St. Mary Parish, La — Travis W. Montgomery, 37, was arrested on May 13 for Domestic Abuse Battery.

A deputy was called in reference a disturbance.

Upon the deputy’s arrival, it was learned that Montgomery and his wife were arguing and Montgomery was throwing items around the residence and struck victim with a bowl in the stomach area.

Montgomery was allowed to leave the residence with family to calm down the situation.

A deputy was later called back to the residence, saying that Montgomery continued to call and text the victim, threatening her.

A deputy went to a house in the 100 block of Andrew Street in Patterson and located Montgomery.

After an investigation, he was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
