Over $31,600 worth of illegal drugs seized from home in Walker; four arrested

Four people were arrested after police seized over $31,600 worth of illegal narcotics from a home in Walker.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the arrests happened on Wednesday, Aug. 28. We’re told an arrest warrant was executed with the assistance of the Walker Police Department at a home located on Fletcher Lane.

Detectives found methamphetamine, steroids, weighing scales, packaging materials and cash. They noted that the type of methamphetamine seized was not manufactured in Livingston and they believe it was transported there from another state.

Claud “Sonny” Kimble, Jr., 23, of Walker, was arrested for for Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (meth), Possession of Schedule III CDS/Steroids (2 counts), and Possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $170,500.00.

A number of Kimble’s acquaintances were also arrested:

Talandis Cotton, 22 of Houston, Texas, is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (meth) and Possession of Schedule II CDS (oxycodone). His bond was set at $60,000.00.
Eugene Harrison, Jr., 29 of Walker, is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (meth) and Possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $50,500.00.

Velise Vallery, 30, of Baton Rouge, is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Marijuana). Her bond was set at $50,000.
