BAKER, LA (NBC33) —
The Baker Police Department held a press conference this morning to reveal details about a case involving the murder of Abelardo Pampo. They say they’ve made two new arrests and are looking for a third suspect.
According to police, Kaitlan Brandon, Terry Jones, and DeMarcus York lured Pampo to Baker with plans to rob him. Suspects told police they stole $100 from the victim and then shot him.
Pampo’s body was found on a little league baseball park back in July 2011. Last year, Kaitlan Alyssa Brandon was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Justice for failing to provide information in regards to her knowledge of Pampo’s whereabouts before the crime was committed.
Today officials have charged Jones and York with First Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, and Illegal Use of a Weapon. They are still looking for Brandon. If you have any information about her whereabouts call CrimeStoppers at 344-STOP.
