BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Derrick Marioneaux, 34. Officials say multiple suspects forced their way into the victim’s home before shooting him.

ORIGINAL: One man has died and another is in the hospital with moderate injuries from a shooting.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that the incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Officials say two men were shot on the 3100 block of Wyandotte Street. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a local hospital.

So far investigators have not established a motive.
