Officials asking for public's help in identifying Ponchatoula armed robbers

Authorities in Tangipahoa Parish are asking for your assistance in gathering information about an armed robbery which occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. on September 28 in Ponchatoula.

It was reported that two unknown male subjects entered Alicia’s Food Mart bearing a silver handgun and demanding money.

Both subjects were wearing masks and dressed all black.  One subject held the clerk at gunpoint as the other subject robbed the store. 

The subjects then fled on foot toward Brown Rd. It is possible that the subjects fled toward St. Tammany Parish in a silver SUV.
