NOPD: Man arrested as principal to woman who stole daiquiri in armed robbery

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WDSU-CNN) — NOPD says it has arrested a man in connection with a June 9 French Quarter armed robbery in which a woman helped herself to a daiquiri before pulling out a handgun.
New Orleans police say the victim was working in the 400 block of Bourbon Street about 2:30 a.m. when he noticed a woman reaching over the counter and helping herself to a daiquiri.
The victim told officers he confronted the woman, but she became belligerent, taking out a handgun and threatening to shoot him.
Police say the woman left with another woman and two men.
Police say a probation and parole officer identified one of the men as one of his parolees, Burnell Jones.
Jones was arrested June 13 on a charge of principal to an aggravated assault, police say.
Police say they are still looking for the three other people involved in the armed robbery.
Police describe the woman who they say took the daiquiri and pulled the gun as 5 feet 10 inches tall with a dark complexion and long black hair. She was wearing a red shirt and light-colored jeans.
Police describe the first person of interest as a black man between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall with a thin build and a medium complexion. He was wearing a camouflaged hat, black T-shirt and camouflaged shorts.
Police describe the second person of interest as a black woman between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build and medium complexion. She was wearing a multicolored dress.
