BATON ROUGE (NBC33) -- Jennifer Crockett will be back at the anchor desk Tuesday for NBC33 News Morning Edition. David D'Aquin sat in for Jennifer after she was involved in a hit and run accident on her way to work Monday morning.
Now we need your help to find the driver responsible. Here are the details:
The crash happened just after midnight Monday, Jan. 17. Jennifer was stopped at a red light on Bluebonnet at Picardy when a SUV ran into the back of her car.
The driver of the SUV asked Jennifer to pull out of traffic onto Picardy and then took off. She was on the phone with 9-11 at the time.
The driver of the SUV is described as a white man in his early 20s. He has brown hair and brown eyes and is about 5 ft 9in tall, and weighs approximately 200lbs.
Jennifer says the driver appeared intoxicated.
He was driving a dark colored SUV - probably a late 1990's or early 2000's model suburban or other large SUV.
The front end has slight damage.
State Troopers are investigating the crash. If you have any details, please call Troop A at 225-754-8500.
And, if you were involved in a hit and run and caught the driver responsible - we want to hear from you! You can comment on this page or send the details to email@example.com.
