Narcotic detectives watch two men inject drugs after purchasing; make arrest

DONALDSONVILLE, LA — Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Tony Bacala reports the arrests of two Donaldsonville men on drug charges.
On June 5 the Sheriff’s Office narcotics detectives observed two men buying drugs in Donaldsonville. Narcotics detectives observed the drug transaction and followed the pair until they pulled over on side of the roadway. Narcotics detectives watched the pair as they sat in their vehicle and prepared to use the drugs they had just purchased.
Narcotics detectives approached the two men and found that they had already melted the cocaine and put it in a hypodermic needle to inject it into their arms.
Jeffrey Carbo, 26, was charged with possession of schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and fugitive from another agency. He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on June 5 where he is awaiting bond.
Shane Pfister, 27, was charged with possession of schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contempt of court. He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on June 5 awaiting bond.
