Men arrested for shooting out more than 50 car windows in Livingston

Three Livingston Parish men now in custody after allegedly shooting out car windows.

Jace Layton Crehan, Benjamin Lloyd McChristian and a 16-year old juvenile are under arrest on 54 counts of Felony Aggravated Criminal Damage to property after they allegedly shot out more than fifty car windows, a window at a home and a window in a travel trailer in the early morning on Thursday, Dec. 22. morning. They shot at the windows with a pellet gun.

"It's unfortunate that they did this,” Perry Rushing, Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, said. “The good news is nobody got hurt. we're very fortunate that that's the case."

The bond for Crehan and McChristian is currently set at more than $1.5-million each.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office is also looking into whether the trio is involved in a series of residential burglaries in the area.
