BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — A man said that a shooting took place on the LSU campus over the weekend, and his tailgate trailer was the victim.
After leaving his trailer parked outside of Peabody Hall after the game Friday, Gary Brown, of Baton Rouge, came to pick it up Saturday and noticed two bullet holes had torn through the front. He has no idea who may have fired at his trailer or why.
Brown said he called LSU police, and was told they weren't aware of any shootings that had taken place.
"To think that someone's driving around campus, shooting a 9mm off in the middle of campus," Brown said. "I think it's alarming that they're shooting up campus."
NBC33 News has reached out to the LSU police department for comment regarding this alleged shooting incident. The department has not responded at this time.
