Man victim of hit and run, Lafayette Police looking for suspects

LAFAYETTE, La — On June 17 at around 2:58 am, Lafayette Police responded to the 600 Block of Acadian Hills Lane, concerning a pedestrian lying the roadway.
The initial evidence at the scene suggests that the pedestrian was the victim of a hit/run. The unidentified male victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The suspect vehicle is possibly silver in color, with a plastic chrome front grill.
Lafayette Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
The crash remains under investigation by the Lafayette Police Department’s Traffic Division.
