Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — On Saturday, July 30 a man turned himself in after a shooting on Thursday.

Baton Rouge Police said Frank Atkins, 26, turned himself in Saturday afternoon for the murder of Bernard Landis, 51.

Police said Atkins shot Landis multiple times while he was sitting on his porch Thursday night.

Atkins is now in Parish Prison charged with Second Degree Murder.
