Baton Rouge, LA — East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a man that stole a purse from Wal-Mart located at 2171 O’Neal Lane on February 22.

According to reports, the victim stated she left her purse and the contents in her shopping cart when she left the Wal-Mare store.

Shortly after the victim exited the store, the suspect is seen taking the purse from the cart and exiting the store in a motorized shopping cart. The suspect was driving what appeared to be a white SUV.

The suspect is a black male with a mustache wearing a sweat shirt and dark colored pants.

Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office at 225-389-5000.
