New Orleans, La (WDSU) — New Orleans police said a man was shot and killed in the Saint Thomas neighborhood early-Thursday morning.

The shooting happened about 1:45 a.m. in the 800 block of Jackson Avenue.

The 55-year-old man was found inside a home shot multiple times to his body.

His name is being withheld pending notification of family members.
