Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A man was shot on Jonah street, near North 47th Street on March 19, at around 9:00 a.m.

The victim was standing on the corner of 47th and Jonah, when someone pulled up next to him and shot him in the leg. The man was taken to an area hospital, and is expected to recover soon.

Neighbor Linda Thompson stated, "It looked like Vietnam out here, like a riot just happened, yellow tape everywhere, police, alphabet letters on the ground."
