Man found shot dead inside vehicle, another man seriously injured

East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred yesterday, Monday, May 14, at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 6000 block of Oak Park near Sumrall in which one man was killed and another injured.

Dederick Droze, 24, of Baton Rouge was found dead inside a vehicle and another man was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

According to reports, Droze and the other man were shot while inside a vehicle on Oak Park. A black man was seen fleeing the scene.

Detectives are still investigating this incident and looking for the suspect.
