Man charged with Aggravated Battery after shooting in Labadieville

LABADIEVILLE, La (NBC33) -- A Luling man sits in an Assumption parish jail after a shooting that occurred on Feb. 19.
Aaron “Tboo” Williams, Jr., 24, was charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery, stemming from an incident that involved gunfire.
Deputies were called to the 2700 block of Highway 308 in Labadieville, LA after witness called the police, stating a large group of people were in the middle of the road fighting.
Shortly after being dispatched, another call came through to police, stating that shots had been fired near the scene of the initial incident.
Investigators determined that the guests of a house party, which took place at a residence off of Highway 308, got into an argument with citizens living on Popcorn Lane, an adjacent street.
The argument led into a fistfight, and eventually escalated into guns being fired. A male and female were injured, both of them with gunshots wounds to the leg.
