Lafayette, La (NBC33) — On June 3, Juvenile Detectives with the Lafayette Sheriff’s Office arrested Mark Edmund Braun, 54, on a warrant for Molestation of a Juvenile.

The victim, a 9 year old female at the time of the offense, came forward while LPSO Juvenile Detectives were investigating Braun for a separate complaint in which he was arrested for Aggravated Rape in December of 2010.

The victim stated that in 2000, Braun committed the offense.
