Eunice, La (NBC33) — A Eunice man has been arrested for forging checks from two different people.

On January 24, two victims went to the Eunice Police Department, claiming that money went missing from their checking accounts.

During the investigation officers learned that checks were stolen from both victims written to and cashed by the same person, Cody Prather, 25.

Prather was charged with to counts of Forgery, 11 counts of Theft by Fraud and 11 counts of Monetary Instrument Abuse. 

Prather is being held on a $32,000 bond.
