Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Baton Rouge Police arrested a man in connection with the murder of a woman near a Motel 6 dumpster.

38 year-old Kevin Broadway is charged with the First Degree Murder of Kristin Granier.

On September 22, a hotel guest found 30 year-old Granier by a dumpster at a Motel 6 in the 9900 block of Gwenadele Avenue.

She was found partially naked with a shoe string around her neck.

Police say Granier was a prostitute working in the area.
