Man arrested for taking vehicle after arguing with complaintant

Alistair C. Burgess, 27, was arrested on May 12 at 2:32 am for Unauthorized use of a Movable.

A deputy was called to the 15000 Hwy 182 in reference to removing a subject from complainant’s residence in Franklin.

Upon the deputy’s arrival, the complainant advised that she wanted Burgess removed from her residence. During investigation it was learned that Burgess had taken the complainant's vehicle.

When the deputy returned to the residence, the complainant’s vehicle was located back at her residence. Deputy checked the residence but Burgesst was gone.

The deputy located the suspect at his residence and conducted an investigation.

After investigating, Burgess was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1000.00 bond and was later released.
