KENTWOOD, LA (NBC33) — A 21-year-old man was arrested for becoming physical and violent in a residential area. Deputies with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office say Patrick Brewer of Kentwood was armed with a knife and even threatened small children.

The incident happened on Tuesday, Aug. 15. Brewer fled the scene when Deputies arrived on scene to respond to the call. It didn’t take long before he was located outside of a residence and was taken into custody.

Brewer was charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Battery, 2 counts Cruelty to a Juvenile, Violation of a Protective Order and Public Information.
