Maintenance man finds homemade bombs at apartment complex

Baton Rouge Detectives are currently investigating the finding of two hand-made bombs.

An apartment maintenance worker located the bombs, transported them to his job on Drusilla Lane and contacted the police.

Baton Rouge Police Bomb Disposal Unit responded and collected the bombs. The bombs were then transported to the BRPD range and were detonated.

There is no motive or suspect information at this time.
