LSUPD arrests 4 McDonald’s employees for overcharging students, pocketing the difference

BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — In October, the LSU Police Department launched an investigation into employees of the McDonald’s in the campus Student Union.
Some employees were allegedly overcharging students on their Tiger Cards through the Paw Points System and then pocketing the difference.
In October, LSUPD received information about the thefts from an employee of LSU Auxiliary Services, the department that oversees operations of the Student Union.
McDonald’s managers later reviewed discrepancies in transactions, which confirmed the thefts.
The following four people have been arrested as a result of the investigation so far:
Bertrand Lawrence Brown, 34
Constance Lacole Brown, 31
Danielle Marie Casey, 23
Jeannine A Rocks, 34
The investigation is still ongoing, and one more arrest is expected.
