LSU Police arrests three for recent armed robbery

LSU Police arrests three in connection with an armed robbery that occurred near Pleasant Hall adjacent to the School of Music on May 29, 2012.

Essence Daniels (aka Essence Hall), 17, of Baton Rouge was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on June 18, 2012. LSU Police distributed two bulletins which led to the identity of Daniels who was charged with principal to armed robbery and theft. Daniels was present during the robbery and used the victim’s credit card at Baton Rouge area retailers after the crime.

Tyler Daniel Walker, 18, of Baker, was also booked into Parish Prison as a principal to armed robbery for his participation in the robbery, to include being the driver of the car used to facilitate the robbery.

An armed robbery charge was added to the accused gun-man, Vyron Jarell Courtney, 18, of Baton
Rouge who is incarcerated at the Parish Prison for charges originating from an unrelated incident in
Baker, Louisiana.
