LSU Police arrest Alabama man for obscenity

LSU Police arrested a man after receiving a report that he was exposing himself to a female subject at Nicholson Apartments on the LSU Campus.

The incident was reported to LSU Police on Thursday, Nov. 17 shortly after 1:00 a.m. When officers arrived in the area, they were able to locate and detain a subject who fit the description provided by a witness.

Timothy Burleson, 40, of Saraland, Alabama, was arrested for obscenity and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

The witness added that Burleson had been looking at her and masturbating while she was walking up the stairs of her building.

Burleson initially denied the incident but later admitted to officers that he was lying and had exposed himself to the female. However, he stated he had not been masturbating. Burleson is not affiliated with the university.
