Local authorities looking for credit card thief

BATON ROUGE, LA — East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a woman seen using a stolen credit card taken from a purse at a local medical facility on August 28.
According to reports, the wallet was stolen out of a purse that was left under the desk of the medical facility at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The victim later received a phone call from one of her credit card banking institutions inquiring about some suspicious credit card transactions. The victim then discovered that her wallet which contained her credit cards was missing from her purse.
The suspect, described as black female wearing a white top with a green undershirt and a long dress, used the stolen credit card to make two unauthorized purchases at a CVS located on Airline Hwy.
