Livingston man arrested aggravated kidnapping, rape

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (NBC33) — The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a man today who was wanted for several different charges, including kidnapping and rape.
Officials tell NBC33 News that Dale N. Lachney, 26, was wanted for an incident that occurred on November 28, 2012. We’re told it happened in the Walker and Denham Springs area. However, officials could not provide any other details relative to the crime.
Lachney was taken into custody shortly before 1:00 p.m. today for Aggravated Rape, Felony Theft, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Aggravated Battery, Attempted Armed Robbery and Second Degree Kidnapping.
No other details have been released at this time.
