Livingston deputies investigate 36 vehicle burglaries

Livingston Parish Sheriff’s deputies are investigating 36 vehicle burglaries that reportedly happened during the early morning hours of Monday, July 21, in the Denham Springs neighborhoods of Forest Ridge and Westminster Estates.

Police say all of the vehicles were left unlock.

The suspect(s) stole various items including credit cards, wallets, GPS’s, and sports equipment.

Around the same time of the burglaries, LPSO responded to reports of a stolen car. A black 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser with a white top was stolen from a residence in the same area. The stolen car had Louisiana license plate RYU025.

Detectives are reviewing security video from the area to determine how many suspects were involved.
