Angola, La (NBC33) — Brandon Scott Lavergne, the man who confessed to killing two women, is on a hunger strike at Angola.
Lavergne says he's being treated unfairly and being kept in solitary confinement for political reasons.
Lavergne pleaded guilty to killing UL-Lafayette student Mickey Schunick, and led investigators to her body; he also confessed to killing a Lake Charles area woman, Lisa Pate. He's serving back-to-back life sentences at Angola for the murders.
