Lafayette Sheriff: Little girl found unharmed

LAFAYETTE, LA (NBC33) — UPDATE:
Kailey is currently in the custody of Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Deputies. She is in good health, good spirits and being reunited with her mother.
Ransom Taylor delivered the child to a friend who made arrangements to meet with investigators for the child's return.
An investigation continues into the matter but the most immediate matter of Kailey's safety had been resolved.
Amber Alert being cancelled.
Ransom Taylor is still missing, and police want to find him. Call your local police department if you know where he is hiding.
UPDATE: Deputies have located the white Bonneville in the 1100 block of Moss Street.
It it believed that Ransom is now in a Black Pontiac Grand Prix with a temporary license plate.
Louisiana State Police has activated the Louisiana AMBER Alert System on behalf of Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office for a child who was abducted shortly after midnight this morning from a residence on Paul Molbert Rd. in Duson, LA.
The child, Kailey Kristy Taylor, is a 3-year-old black female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 3 feet tall and weighs 34 pounds. Her hair was braided on the sides and she was last known to be wearing a lime green shirt and pink & white pants.
Kailey was abducted by her father, Ransom J. Taylor, a 30-year-old black male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing black pants, black jacket and black boots. He has a scar over his left ear. On his left bicep, he has a tattoo of a naked woman. On his right wrist, there is a tattoo bearing the name “Kristal.”
They were last seen in a 2000 white Pontiac Bonneville bearing Louisiana tags XHM 285. The direction of travel is unknown but the suspect was last known to be living in the Lafayette area.
