INDEPENDENCE, La (NBC33) – Two Kentwood teens were arrested for burglarizing a business owner.

On Friday, Jan. 7, the business owner arrived to find pick-up truck oddly backed up on his property. That’s when he saw two people carrying an item taken out of his business. That’s when the business owner pulled a gun on the two suspects identified as Tyrail Tate, 17, and Sinadra Coleman, 18. The man ordered the duo to drop the stolen item, which they did.

Tate and Coleman fled the scene on foot after the business owner fired a shot in their direction. They were picked up by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office and arrested. Both were charged with one count Simple Burglary of a Business.
