Investigation leads to arrest of Raceland man in child pornography case

LAFOURCHE PARISH, LA — A Raceland resident has been booked into the Lafourche Parish Jail on one count of possessing pornography involving juveniles.
Investigators arrested Ronald Breaux, 66, on Tuesday following a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Breaux is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison. His bond has been set at $100,000.
