A man has been arrested in conjunction with a robbery that took place at a Houma gas station during the month of February.

On February 22, shortly after 1:00 a.m., Houma Police went to Philo’s Gas Station, located at 1304 St. Charles Street, in reference to a burglary.

When the officers arrived, they noticed that a glass window in the front of the business was shattered; this allowed the thief to enter.

Multiple items, such as various bottles of alcohol and cigarettes, were taken from the business.

As the investigation continued, detectives received information that pointed to suspect, Patrick Donnell, 28.

On March 12, Houma Police detectives located Donnell. He was then charged with Simple Burglary. Donnell also had an outstanding warrant for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was then transported to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex on the aforementioned charge.
